Beaded Pens

This is a sample of the beaded pens I will have at my class on September 16.
Some pens have stampin' up silver beads. Others are stamped and then covered with clear beads. Some have stamped images on the inside of the barrel and crystal beads over the barrel.
These will make great stocking stuffers for Christmas or gifts for a teacher along with a box filled with handmade stamped cards.

I am going to have to try some of the different ones that you made - I have only made the ones covered with the clear beads!

Hi Maggie!- Group #4 SCS SU! Blogger here! I just posted a kit that I made that included a beaded, decorated pen on my blog. I LUV the ones you have done here! I think it is such a simple thing to do that really jazzes up the pens- don't you? TFS

Hi Maggie- thanks for the sweet comment you left for me about my beaded pens! Those are short (RSVP size) pens and the brand name is Zebra (medium-Z Grip). They were really inexpensive, 4 or 5 to a pack, I think. I got them at a central Texas grocery store here that's called HEB. Maybe you can find them in your area or google for them- good luck! As far as the tins, i had leftovers from nugget tin gifts that I made last Christmas. Here's where i ordered them from-http://www.specialtybottle.com/index.asp?PageAction=Custom&ID=41.
Just copy and paste into your browser! I hope to be commenting on people's blogs today as tomorrow we might have strong winds and no power due to Hurricane Ike! Chat with ya later!

I really like the two black and white pens on the left. I have only done the rsvp pens where you stick the stamping in the barrel. These are great.
